About the Austin Otaku Podcast
“Otaku” is the Japanese word for a person who has a consuming interest in anything. They can be obsessed with anime, manga, comic books, science fiction and fantasy novels, table-top gaming, and model building, or they can be sports stats nerds, connoisseurs of music or fine wines or bacon. In short, an otaku is anyone who has a driving passion that may or may not have to do with their careers.
In this podcast, hosts Jesse McDonald and Keith Goode will explore these side interests that drive our friends in marketing, media and entrepreneurship or give them the respite to tackle the next day.
